[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken from Windmill Hill in Gravesend during heavy mist. The direction was towards sunrise, and the mood was enhanced by under-exposing the image and the use of a graduated tobacco filter.

I really enjoy this photo. There is a great spacial relationship as the fence leads the viewer's eye and attention into the foggy, surreal morning. Excellent composition! Thank you.

Hi (Rob)(Bob)(Robert)(let me know)

Lovely shot well composed and all with the use of Filters well done.

Ron

Spectacular result Robert
Lovely composition, . Well seen. The fence line is really a big plus in your compo, like the line of trees in the background. Beautiful silhouettes!

Robert

Hi Robert.
There was huge potential for a truly outstanding image here, with the many different ways the interplay between the sharp, clear fence and the misty forest beyond could have been exploited :) Exploring different POVs here, inlcuding toward then away from the fence, would have I'm sure presented you with a much more powerful image than this conservative, not-quite-sure-what-is-the-main-focus effort. The filter just confuses the "story" of the image even more, in my opinion only of course :)

regards,
Sheldon (shel)

Hi Robert,

wow, what an atmosphere! I´m impressed, it looks so unreal...well done!

Regards, Ivana

I'm not usually a great fan of coloured filter. But there's always and exception, and this time it is..Lovely capture.
