[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not been posting for a while, been working over Christmas and New Year, so not a lot of time. And to compound it I sold my D70 in order to purchase a D200, but am still waiting. Nikon don't seem to be in a hurry to supply.

This is a shot I took on Arran a beautiful island of the west coast of Scotland. I would really recommend a visit if you ever get the chance.

Peter

Good to see you again and with a beautiful picture of beautiful Arran. Nicely done with all of the sun rays going through the clouds and creating a magical light on the water. Excellent!

Sorry, my bag is empty!

I hope your new equipment will provide you with as many great pics as the d70. I am also awaiting the money to buy a d200! The sun breaking through the clouds to annouce a new year and new things!

Nice to see you back, hope your camera appears soon.
I like the rays of light emanating from the cloud - well seen :)

Hello Peter, beautiful dramatic sky and you've managed to capture the sun rays very well!! What's more addition is the yellowish colour tone on the horizon!! Great!
cheers
ToM

Another beautiful capture from that region, Peter. I love those sunrays. Nice frame too.
TFS.
Good luck with your D200. Hope delivery will follow soon ;o)

Hi Peter, This is a very nice shot. Very interesting to look at..because of the many elements but yet not too much. I like the sun rays going to the water...

TFS, See you on TL, Happy new year, Marie-José

Hi Peter,

Happy New Year, hope you had a great Christmas.
Beautiful scene and well done on the composition.

Any news on the rescue pic? Any magazines you can submit it to.?

Mike

Hi Peter, This is exactly the kind of shot where I find that some extra fltering can bring out a lot more. Mind you it's a beautiful scenery, but since it lacks a single element to set it apart from other sunset seascapes, I tried to enhance it a bit. Unfortunately I am out of workshops for today, so I'll be back tomorrow.

Hi Peter

I like the radiating sunbeams & shimmering surface of the sea. Good colour, lighting, & reasonable sharpness. Well doen!

Beautiful Arran again. Wonderful shot, Peter ! I have been less active on TL too for the past couple of weeks, hope to be back more regularly too.

I hope Nikon gives you your D200 soon, so you can start playing again.

Marleen
