Classis view of this wonderful city, but it is always nice to see it again. POV is well known but your composition is very good, one of the best I've seen from this location.

What a wonderful view Francesco. This is so different from the towns of New Zealand, and I like to see it. Lighting and colours are good.
If you didn't have to resize, what size photos do you take on your camera? The bigger the photo the better.

good composition, i saw the workshop, you did a very good job cropping the original image
good PP to bring out the colors

i think there's still more red in the roofs of the houses which looks a little overexposed, try using the burn tool on the roofs to bring out those colors :)

i did a little workshop with the burn, hope you don't mind :)

I am particularly touchy when it comes to pictures of Dubrovnik because I like it so much. I would call this a classical shot of this rightly called "Jewel ".
Nicely sharpened and focused on a brigt suuny summer day. Like it.

When I see the photo you started, it's not a good sharp photo. Did you scan this one ?
And don't you do something wrong with the scan ? Was the negative unsharp to ?

looking at this photo makes me longing to go there. Wonderful view - the POV you have chosen is perfect. The town is so perfectly shown, with it's fantastic, brown-orange roofs, the marina looks like the parking for cars - only why it's so turquoise-blue? :-) Great shot! tfs
