Why green ?

| these are lights of Zaporozhye stadium. I captured this at a high shutter speed , which I dont remember now:-)) , I don't know why they are not all yellow or white ? is there a reason behing having some green spots ? |

The reason is that there is already green colors in that kind of light! It's depending the gaz inside the lamp. You can see that they are not the same yellow. Even some neon from our house, had the green tendance.
This is why we use whit a balance by the way, in compensation for our light who are not really white.
The green ones are probably more used then others. Here i have a pair of sunglasses of a very dark red. So if i wear it, i will see very well the green apparence of some neon light.
Blablabla... Back to the picture now!
Luckily i answer cause i enjoy the photo. The industrial style is interesting, and the compo dark behind/light! Now about the explaination, As i said, the light is not totally white. And look at the atmosphere of the night sky... It's not gray or black... It have a green tendance...
