Café de la Bourse

Another souvenir from my years at sea.
Here we are in the center of the City. This Café was my base. When I was not working on board, I used to walk from the Roche-Maurice dock up to here. I was then enjoying a nice blonde ( a beer... )and a croque-monsieur.
From that point I was starting my trekking in town choosing a different direction every day.
The Port of Nantes – Saint Nazaire serves both the Nantes / Saint Nazaire urban area, which with its 800 000 inhabitants is one of Europe’s major cities, and Greater Western France, within which Nantes is an important logistical hub.

As I am writing these lines at Torino Olympic Games, on Men's Giant Slalom , the Crazy Canucks are going very well. François Bourque is leading after the first run!

PS . I am enjoying a Day off!

Hi Robert,
Hard to imagine that this was taken almost 30 years ago. Superb composition and your frame accentuates the period. Great photo.

Hi Rob,
I agree with linus, a 30yr old photo and it looks great! Vivid colours & sharp and details. I posted one that is 12years old and I had to re-define the word "Image Enhancement"!
Anyway, lovely POV & notes.
Constantinos
looks almost the same (idea) as my for last posting
Nice Robert ! How are you 2?????
