and I am funky!
This indeed is Robert our little fosterling. We have him for about 8 weeks because a friend of ours went on a treatment at a health resort and couldn't bring him. So far we have him for a week and he is luckily still alive :)
I took this shot in my little studio in the attic and he seemed to be really interested in being a model, holding up his nose and sniffing around...
I converted into b&w by using PSCS2's channel mixer // monochrome and playing around with the settings. |

Jan,
I have to tell you, I love Robert! He reminds me of our hamster, Rascal. We have many pets in my family, and it seems we are always rescuing those without homes {my wife's new request is that we help with the breeding program of the rare, endangered black-footed ferret). By the way, Robert is a guinea pig, right? I like the tight, "up-close-and-personal" POV because I tend to like seeing detail in facial features (animal or human). Thanks for posting "Robert", Jan – I hope to see more of him, perhaps in a setting showing more of his surroundings and activities - Take care, and best wishes!
Jim
Hello Robert, you are so cute. I must say you posed so nicely and your photographer managed to get really good exposure of you. He even focused so well that all the details of your soft fluffy fur show up real good. Be kind to your foster parents while you are visiting them, and remember not to chew the table legs.
Excellent detail Jan, really great detail
