| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Today's photo from Provence shows a section of the Alpilles, a small, low mountain range roughly between Avignon and Arles. In the small valleys at the foot of these dry limestone mountains the farmers grow mainly olives, as can be seen here.
The ground in this area is full of stones and therefore hard to farm. I believe that if that was not the case the area would have been totally converted into farming land and lost its natural beauty. As it is, however, it is still there with all its beauty for everybody to enjoy, if only on a photograph.
The olive oil produced by the cottage industry in this region is of superb quality and together with fresh garden vegetables (as seen in yesterday's photo) makes for the most delicious salad.

How are you?... i only limit to answer people comment my views.. i.m so much lazy je je. Welll good landscape Cordelia; the trees organize very well the land.s structure.
