This is another course of our six-course lunch we enjoyed on the terrace of the Oustau de Baumanière in Provence last June. The French version reads:

Thon de Méditerranée juste saisi,
côte de sucrine, tomates confites et olive taggiashe

It contained three versions of tuna: smoked, fried, and raw. As well as I remember the course, I cannot translate the rest into English. (Maybe someone can help?) Let me tell you, it was a delight - the whole meal was a three-hour delight. Something to remember for a long, long time. So, dear foodies, it is well worth saving up for such a fancy meal every once in a lifetime!

I hope you enjoy this culinary view. You can see another dish at Provence, 3

Your opinions are most welcome. Thank you for your visit!

PP: Added contrast, sharpened, re-sized and framed.

Hi Cordelia,
Looks delicious and you do well in depicting!
Th whole idea with food photography is to make the viewer want some, and I would not mind tasting this right now!
Well framed, appealing natural colours and fine details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Great presentation of delicious food! It looks so real that I am sure I can start eating later right from my monitior ^_^. This is done very well Cordelia!

This is a wonderful one, Cordelia. I think the food was a magnificiant subject, and you've chosen a course that is quite beautiful. But this is wonderfully rendered. Though I do wonder about straightenting the lines of the plate (but I am a bit "anal" that way). Overall, though, I am a bit jealous now (and hungry!).
Mike

looks tasy Cordelia :)
glad you enjoyed the meal :)
not easy photograph food, you did well to avoid reflections and bright spots on the food itself :)

points later :)

Hello Cordelia!

Back on posting critiques, after a few days away. (*_*)
Thank you for the invitation to sit at your table (*_^)

Very nice dish, with the addition of flowers too. Did you try them ? as they are apparently tasty too.

I love the way you used your plate to frame your shot and add your signature. Well thought!
Robert

Hi Cordelia,

A beautiful shot for a good meal,

doesn't give will nor of eating, only
to be admiring all is beautiful
