Seems like the two of you had a great celebration!
I like this creation, it is basically well framed to enhance what is important... I have second thoughts about the arm in front, not sure but maybe you were better off without it in the frame?
The curve of the table matches the curves of the plate... that is good!
The food is well exposed and captured with good details and natural colours... Maybe I'd consider turning the plate some 90 degrees clockwise?
