Hello everybody..
This is a photo of a small violet.
I was walking with my friend and my camera and it was raining. We where on our way home, when we saw this flower...

About the picture, I cut the flower and made the background black and white for the special effect.

Nice shot and beautyful flower Nick de With. I like the drops. But have some noise in background need to remove and the frame is unsuitable, I think so.

Great picture my friend! Sharpness of the droplet makes this photo very interesting colours are great especially due the B&W (grey) background. Frame is very nice although in my opinion only one colour (white or yellow) is enough, two colours are slightly overdone. Nevertheless job well done Nick! TFS.

It's clear you have a natural talent, Nick. Not only the way you've composed the shot and post-processed it the way you did; also the choice of the frame and the used colours give way of what you can achieve in the future. Very well done!

Very nicely captured, Nick, and I like your PP work to desaturate the background. Your choice of depth of field is very interesting giving good sharpness in the bottom petal and nice softness on the top ones. The big water drop is very well captured. Well done!

P.S. Frames are always debated on TL, some like them some don't and everyone seems to have a different interpretation on their use. I personally prefer very discreet frame but again that is a personal preference!

Deze is trouwens erg mooi! Hoewel ie met een gekleurde achtergrond ook goed was geweest, geeft dit een extra effect. TFS!
