[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot I did with my trusty(cheap!) Powershot!
I was in France on a 3-week long trip through Europe and the Eiffel just totally fascinated me. I did a few "normal" shots of it, but also walked around a bit and tried diffenrent angles and POVs.
I think this one worked quite well, but I wonder if it doesnt work better in proper Black and White. What do you all think?

Hi Neil, only just seen this. I love the unusual angle on this. When I visited Paris I wasn't 'into' photography so didn't take advantage of it. Have to go again some tme.

Niel, love this shot, with the Eiffel Towel it's great to see a different angle cos all the others have been taken so many times!!! I've just spent 10 minutes counting rivets on this one, before I got stir crazy. Yes I think a B&W version would be very effective. Neil.

Hi Niel, original shot of the tower. Excellent POV and nicely cropped. Regards, Roberto

Hi

I have no idea how big this really is, but from this photo, it looks humongus.

That is one heck of a load of steel going up there. Is that a lift in th centre bottom?

Great angle, image flows nicely into the photo (excellent comp.) How about a workshop to show us what it looks like in B&W.

This is certainly an eye ful, :) Great angle, I love this type of photo, it ads perspective and makes the viewer feel little. You have great sharpness top to bottom and I like the diagonal composition here too. Cheers. Karey

it would indeed be perfect in B&W - try a little frame as well so as to exagerate the depth even more.
lovely POV.

Wow, I really like this one! There must be absolutely millions of picture of the tower out there, but this is definitely a very unique angle.

What makes this photo interesting is the total lack of colour. There is some blue sky, but it is very pale and the rest of the structure is basically black. Taking this or maybe converting it afterwards in black and white might actually look pretty good. Maybe add some grain to it?
