[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another picture taken earlier this year during my long trip through Europe.
Again it was done with my stupid little (great trusty!) Canon Powershot A75!
I took this shot through the window from one of the wings of the famous Louvre Museum looking out onto the "new" ugly and totally out-of-place glass pyramid, with another wing of the old Louvre visible behind it.
Hope you like it!

Apart from file size reduction, no other work done on pic.

Hi Niel

What is that glass pyramid, I have seen it in many magazines!

Well done on the framing, I like it.

like the composition even when the picture is slightly tilted
nicly done

I absolutely love the composition of this picture. Having the arches "frame" the picture a bit really makes it unique. Capturing the controversial pyramid and the louvre together is also a very interesting perspective. I really like it, well done.

Hi Niel,
I like this composition, combining the old with the new. Great POV utilizing the arched window as you frame. Very nice sharpness and good details.

I liked your idea of capturing this image from the arch of veranda. And inclusion of part of grill is looking great. Fine details have been captures, very well done Niel.

Thanks for sharing this image.

Nice view and juxtaposition of old and new. The window provides a natural frame for the whole scene.
A completely different view of the Louvre!

Thanks for the idea and for sharing it,
Nune

Hi Niel, good one. Sky a bit washed out. I think its time you upgrade to something that can take a polariser filter. :-) I like the composition and POV. Overall good shot.
