[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I travelled to the small town Batak in the Rhodope Mountains. The town is nested at an altitude of about 1600 meters above sea level and is surrounded by hills some of them as high as 2000 meters. High surrounding causes premature sunset after which temperatures quickly fall bellow zero - you can spot the traces of the first snow remaining upon the roofs.

You really have some winter mood now!
This is a fine image, where several elements play together to show the season... Snow of course, low angle of sunlight, use of fireplaces in some houses...
