[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot I took on my month long trip through Europe in early 2006.
This is the famous Grand Canal in Venice. What an amazing city : NOTHING like it on earth!
I had to wait in a qeue for half an hour to get to the front of the Rialto Bridge to shoot off a couple of shots of this famous waterway.
It is a busy canal, with it being used for tourism activities, and daily transport of foodstuffs and supplies and so on.
It is another shot with my "al cheapo" Powershot, but I didnt have the strength to carry my big LowePro bag around with me through all the tiny narrow streets!
No alteration was done to this shot except resizing.

Venice is famous for many things and Marco Polo and Nicolo Polo were among them.

Beautifully taken image with fine details and good point of view. Composition is excellent, well done.

I am properly impressed with the pictures you captured with your Powershot. It just shows you that you don't always need to break the bank in order to get a good picture.

I like the picture, composition is good. A bit busy, but it adds to the overall feel. Maybe cranking up the saturation in post processing a bit will make it a winner.
