Wow great idea Vivianne! Wonderful macro image, excellent colours although IMHO (in my humble opinion) the lighting isn't perfect [thats the hard part of a macro] the lower side of the button is a bit too dark. Next time just try a simple light source like a bright spotlight (the one from your Mum's desk ;) And give it some try's. Nevertheless a wonderful posting Viv! Job well done and TFS!

Hi Vivianne - This is the best of your images on TL so far, because of your idea and its effective execution: close-up of a simple every-day object, which we use all the time without paying much attention to, presented in sepia, with a play of light and shadow and on an interesting fabric texture. "Just" a button?!? Last van bescheidenheid, Viviane? ;o)))
Dit vind ik niet zomaar een knoopje, hoor! Ik hou wel van foto's die een klein object, dat soms slechts een radertje van een geheel is, optillen tot een volledig op zichzelf staand iets. Je bent daar perfect in geslaagd. Dit knoopje krijgt door je aanpak iets monumentaals, mooi in de verf gezet door de subtiele kleuren, contrasten en texturen op de achtergrond.
Mooi werk!
