Another of my old shots. I was on my way to work, way too early. So I strolled around a little to see what a sleepy fair is like. It is very quite and pieceful and a nice change to the usual pandemonium :)

Post work in PS CS:
1. I go to Channel Mixer and click "Monochrome" than I change the sliders to what I like. Here Red 80 / Green 16 / Blue 4

2. I go to Gradiation Curves and change what I like, very difficult to explain as there are no set percentages... :(

3. Little changes in shadow/light menu.

4. Applied a different than usual sepia tone and added grain.

Mysterious mood Jan !
The covers raise questions of the content, the figures are from another world, the PP give it chill.
Perhaps the contrast is a bit high, but overall I find it well accomplished.

It is oniric and mysterious !
Congrats.

Nice play with the light and shadows. It is nice to see a peaceful park. I like the sepia tones you chose.

Beautiful and mysterious this carousel
but I magnify in the details, in the colors
great work, beautiful creativity.
Congratulations

Nice shot Jan. Good lighting and atosphere...

Had a very quick surf through your collection. Stopped at the architectural one, which was superb, but I was 'pulled' to this one, by some strange magnetic force.
Aside from the most effective treatment, the scene strikes me as a still from a drama movie and the 'villain' is lurking in the shadows somewhere. The heroine is alone ... she is looking for her friend (the hero) who is NOT here ... the music in the background is dramatic ...
There's something about a deserted fairground scene that spells drama. Am I going nuts?
