Forest path at the lower part of Slieve Donard

Slieve Donard at 850 metres (2,789 ft) is the highest of the Mourne Mountains. The walk to its summit is mainly on forest and mountain paths that are rough and sometimes wet. Parts of the mountain section have been paved, and the last part of the climb follows the Mourne Wall.
The views from the summit are extensive and on a clear day it may be possible to see the Isle of Man, Wicklow, Wales, Scotland and Donegal.

I tried to give this a painterly mystical look in Photoshop. But not overdo it, hope i succeded.

Thanks for looking.

Gary

Lovely and a bit mysterious, great colours and I like the framing too...

I think that your experimenting worked well Gary.
You have managed to give it a soft look;the colours are beautiful.
TFS, regards Jean.

Hi Gary, I like very much the pp work you did here and the glow you added. It makes it very fairy tale like.

I like the colours. good lead-in line by the pathway.

Very good shot of the forest. I like the way you have given it a mystical look with post processing. How did you do that?
