I know it is difficult to believe that this photo was taken at the fabulous Keukenhof gardens!
There was an exhibition of glass works of sorts, and I just stood around, resting a little bit. Then I turned to my left and saw this angle. I immediately liked it and snapped away!
I keep wondering if this wouldnt look better in B&W... Tell me what you think! |

Hi Niel,
Interesting photo! Well seen! Like the reflections in the glasses too. I did a workshop for you so you can compare it with B&W. TFS! Ciao, Bianca
No, I don't think B&W would make it a better picture, just that bit of colour makes it great IMO.
Hope you had a great time in those great gardens,
Els

Ah, good example of someone obeying the rule of thirds. Well, almost. It looks good, some shallower depth of field could have focused the attention on one particular glass perhaps? Doesn't matter to me, I think it looks great!

Hello Niel, Good shot. I like the angle you have chosen here. Interesting installation. I think you are right, it would look better in B&W as we don't really need that green bg getting in the way. I looke at the WS too and I'm sure it's better in B&W. Well done.
Neat image & wind chime. I bet it could sound like you're at a big dinner wehre everyone is clinking their glasses lol!
