Mind_the_Gap... the Bridge Gap!!! :)
This is the bridge gap of the Tower Bridge, often mistaken for the London Bridge. I'm interested not only in the beauty of a landmark but also how it works. I chose this POV instead of a horizontal/vertical precision to emphasize dynamism and the details... before it piked open and I went straight into the river Thames :)

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London and is sometimes mistakenly called London Bridge, which is the next bridge upstream. The bridge is owned and maintained by Bridge House Estates, a charitable trust overseen by the Corporation of London.

The central span of 200 feet (61 m) between the towers was split into two equal bascules or leaves, which could be raised to an angle of 83 degrees to allow river traffic to pass. The bascules, weighing over 1,000 tons each, were counterbalanced to minimize the force required and allow raising in five minutes.

Well, technically the photo is interesting.
The POV also but, I don't like the bottom of the picture : too blurry.
I see that the shuttertime was 1 sec.
That would explain it.
