Dear Elena,
this is an interesting combination, as an image of artistic scene.
the theme of Johannes Vermeer's painting is of course the shining colors of objects under the light in the shadow, and this shot looks like a ghost image of Vermeer in the daylight at modern Netherlands' city...
the meaning is changing by times, places and people, Vermeer's girl is looking at you beyond the golden fence, and her eyes also look at your camera through vermeer's lens.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Elena,
Good catch. These eyes.... It's apity that the framing is not straight. Good picture although.
Greets,
Ruut
