[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Say hello to this Scottish Highland family. I poked my camera through their enclosure fence and they came to say hello and have you got some food for us. Taken near to where I live. They were in a small enclosure on a smallholding type farm that seemed much too small for them in my opinion.
They are backlit by an evening sun.

Hello, Bev.

What a great picture of a typical family of Doonhamers! Seriously, a good picture with great colours and good exposure.

A bit of a pity the sky is so white but I guess it was quite bright compared to the rest of the subject: by compensation, the sun has given lovely deep colours as it shines through the coats of these animals.

Despite their enclosure being a bit cramped, they look healthy enough on it!

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hello Beverly.
Very nice 'portrait' of this wild looking Highlanders.
Are they acting in the Highland Cames? haha.
Cheers from Jan

Bev, the picture Autumn Mellow keeps on shifting so then I will visit this one and the WS is with the other one.
Love how you capture this whole nosy family.
I noticed when looking at my nieces computer screen that my picture were darker there, so I don't know if it really is the case, but maybe this picture would benefit from a gamma correction up to 1.60.

Hi Bev

Well they all wanted their photo taken. I love the framing here.

Hi Bev,this is an unusual shot of Highland cattle, which I like very much, because you have a screen full of their faces. The sharpness is excellent, you can almost feel their hair.
I hope that your camera wasn't the worse for the experience!
Tfs, regards Jean.

worderful shot, almost like the animals were doing their best to "strick" a pose, bravo the director..))). Really like this frame.

Hi Bev, what a brilliant photo! You would think they knew "its picture time here".
