Hello Phil,

A classic set up for a still life painting. Are you doing a painting from this?

Three objects are just the right number for a satisfying composition, and the contrast of the orange coloured fruit against the blue and white of the plate is excellent.

The shadows cast from the natural? light show the pomegranates 3-dimensionally.

The obliqueness of the boards under the bowl is a good touch too.
