I've heard him died lastly; so I decided him to live on net in this way.God bless him , he lived % 80 of his life away from his country.noone could define the word 'homesick' better than him ,and I hope none of us need that definition.
actually he lived in germany and switzerland but I took this picture in luxembourg during a visit ,luckily I did it. it is a memorial for me,I advise all of us to leave some time for taking pictures of friends or our families.we can't know when we would need it .

Very nice image.Good composition and well balanced lighting.Congrats!

Nice composition Nejat, creating an impressive mood in this photo. The B&W tonings really suit the photo.

This picture has the touch of those old B&W pictures of great men in my former history book. I like it a lot, it really makes me wonder who this man was. There's a twinkle in his eyes that makes the picture really interesting.
See you!

Wow, this is the most touching portrait I have ever seen. It holds a feeling of the soul of the person. And thank you for the advice. I naturally enjoy taking many pictures of our family members.

You have covered two questions of life so well, home, and death. And bringing them together in remembrance of this character filled old man is a work of fineart and touching to my heart.

I would like to know what PP work you did to make this portrait in this way. It is unlike what I have seen before...

Nejat,
a beautiful b&w portrait. I love it, lot of emotion pours out of this photo... it is my opinion that we can oftyen portray emotions better in b&w like in this photo. Well done
jaco

He actually looks like John Steinbeck, the author. A very strong portrait you present here, and the note makes it even stronger. And I will remember your advise.Thank you for sharing this.
