Iris was the goddess of the rainbow among Greeks. This majestic flower likes the sun and affectionne the well drained grounds. The iris can be multiplied by division of its rhizomes. This flower offers a great choice of varieties to the sumptuous colours.

A photograph gathered on a flowered expressway of Niort.Unfortunately the seedlings of iris are already at the end of the flowering, it makes so hot here.

Crop, adjusting light, colors, sharp and after having selected the higher part of the flower with the tool lasso, I applied an effect of softness.

I would return as soon as I would find a small pause in my timetable. I think yours sincerely. Friendships.

Belle composition chère amie. Un effet presque psychédélique avec la complexité des motifs, formes et couleurs.

Hi Corinne,
beautiful close up. The colours look so soft. My feeling is that a simpler frame would have worked better as IMO, the frame as it is distracts the viewer a bit. Just my humble opinion, it still is a very nice picture.

Magnifique macro de ce sublime iris ! Les couleurs sont fantastiques ... on dirait un tableau abstrait ... un monde irréel, c'est très beau !

Aussitôt intégré à mon thème ! Merci Corrine. On voit bien les organes reproducteurs de la fleur : étamines et style. Avec la barbe qui sert de signal lumineux pour attirer les insectes...
