[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Most of my Veteran's Day photographs were portraits and can be found on my TrekEarth account, but I wanted to share this one with you!

Veteran's Day in the Netherlands is a day to give all Dutch veterans the acknowledgement and respect they deserve - from the government as well as Dutch society.
One can be against war, but these veterans have battled for peace and security all around the world, based on the democratic decision-making by the Dutch goverment / politics. Irrespective of one agrees with that decision to go to war or not.


Technical note:
During Veteran's Day, I stuck to my 105mm f/2.0 DC lense. Rear defocus f/2.0, creating wonderful bokeh.

Als ik zulk soort plaatjes zie gaat mijn hart altijd sneller kloppen....
Jàààren geleden, tijdens mijn militaire dienstplicht heb ik óók bij een tamboer- en trompetterkorps gezeten.

Wauw dit is grote klasse Dennis,goed diepte werking en wat een kleurenpracht,dit schreeuwt om veel meer....Sorry dennis maar ik moet dit gewoon lief beoordelen,kan er niks an doen.

Prachtig hoe de voorste twee mannen los lijken te komen van de achtergrond... eigenlijk zou de middelste man ook helemaal scherp moeten zijn (of misschien juist iets waziger)...
Het geheel geeft hoe dan ook een prachtig beeld van een kleurrijke evenement.
