[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this on a trip to Edinburgh i was in a roof top cafe jusr leaned over and took the shot converted to black and white and added a slight frame before posting the Royal is the road that runs from Edinburgh castle to Holyrood Palce it is a very historical place to visit and is still used in procession of garnduer to this day . also is a grt place to see the Edinburgh festival fringe acts at the end of this month and the ist 3 weeks in August

A beautiful POV of this road. I like how the buildings frame the shot down each side. A great idea to convert to black & white - adds to that "classic" feel!

Oh I love this! all motion all happening and we can sit at this vantage point and watch it all go by. Lovely POV with good detail and lighting. Excellent idea for desat too.

hello Bryan,
great bird's eye view of the Royal Mile. Lots of interesting detail and there is an almost Lowry like quality to the figures. Funnily enough I have a shot of a seagull looking down on Edinburgh (taken on the over-the -road walkway near the St james shopping centre) that I had thought to post.

i like this b/w shot, evokes by-gone days, i like the mix of old and new, i think Edinburgh is a city like that, fascinating history. the image has a great pov and good interest.
