I love this shot! The emotion is well captured - this boy does indeed look bored to tears or extremely deep in thought. The choice of greyscale works well as well.
A little suggestion for composition - please try to not capture the subject smack-bang in the middle of the photo. This rule does not apply 100% of the time though and in this case I may be tempted to not moan too much about it due to the balance in the picture. I would still suggest though tht the right hand side of the photo should have been cropped.
Despite the composition, I'm still awarding a double thumbs up for the mood and expression!
