Hi Peeps

Following yesterdays posting and the interest it seemed to spark I thought I would post a small selection of the shots I took during the proces of actually throwing the pot.

I had the camera hand held so I could move around the artist at work and also because I did not want all the shots at the same angle.

Images processed in photofiltre with a black canvas measuring 800 x 800 then 9 square image resized to 250x 250 and layered onto the Background. Added outside frame and resized for upload.

I will post another multiple capture in a few days time to show you the final processing,

TTFN and thanks for the visit

regards Smrufie

Very fine sharp images Helen, really interestingly done. Certainly tells a story. 3x3 storyboard works well.
I could never get clay spinning right back in my school days - lumps of clay shot everywhere!!!

Ron

nice multiple capture & presentation,
I wouldn't have the idea to do this,
the fact that the angles are different doesn't matter indeed, the angle is right the good one in each pic

When you look at it it all seems soooo very easy...
Well I have tried it, and believe me... nothing is what it seems here. This is quite a skill.

Great collage my dear!!! love this view you give us in the Potter's "kitchen"...

Anneke

Nice 'educational' series, the quality of these shots are such that they would be totally at home in a how-to pottery book. Perfectly lit, beautifully sharp, clear, and spot-on POV.

Hi Helen,

It looks great and every picture is beautiful in itself. I have been trying this for a while, but it is real messy I can tell you. However it feels nice to work with clay and it is not as easy as it seems.
