Wat gaaf Jos... Ik wist niet dat dit soms nog met de hand werd gedaan... hoewel het wel logisch lijkt. Op sommige plekken zijn de halmen omgewaaid dus moet dat wel haast handmatig worden gedaan..... of toch niet??

Hoe dan ook, ik vind dit een leuke plaat.
De mannen even lekker aan het werk.

Very fine capture of two men hard at work
Superb details.
My one suggestions would have been to show a little more above their heads -- but then I do not know what kinds of distractions that might have created.

I can hardly believe that harvesting is done like that in this day and age, unless it is a museum village? This is an excellent composition with the two men perfectly placed in the frame and giving a sense of perpective and DOF.I like the blue of the mens clothes which looks good against the yellow hay.

The reason this shot works well is because it uses the Rule of Thirds so effectively.

Your subjects are not in the centre of the photograph, but each one is placed towards 1/3rd across the frame; that makes a much more appealing photograph.

Un bien joli cliché qui annonce la fin de l'été!!!
Il y a encore des personnes qui fauchent à la main, la tradition n'est pas perdue, je la préfère volontiers à celles de ces grosses machines!!!!
