Good evening Peeps

When I posted yesterdays image one of the TL members asked me if I had seen an apple spider when shooting this little batch... well my friends look very closely can you spot him?

I had to lift the brightness a tad to make him more visible so the sunshine on the apple is a little OE now but hopefully he is visible.. I wouldn't be in a rush to be picking this one for apple pie.... might end up with more than I bargained for.

Hope you all had a great day.

TTFN regards Smurfie

Hi Helen,

Definitely I can see it . . it's a sharp image and easily spot it . . not a complete one, but there are the legs . .
Nicely composed with some drops to add freshness of the apple . .
I like seeing the drops with reflection . .

Hi Helen

(-: that is just too cool , now I have to find where to get an apple tree :-)

one thing I really like with these apple photos your are sharing is I stand to learn something , I would really not know how to make such an image presentable. the water drops work really well , and the OE well, I have used a polarizer to tame such reflections but found that it detracted from texture and shape , I don't know if you planned the reflections location but it is well placed on the apple resting in the lines of the rule of thirds which I think worked well too. color and composition are also nice.

as for the little 'guest' well it will certainly protect your fruit from less desirable insects ;-)

thanks for this one
regards

Hello Helen,

A tasty treat indeed!
The spider's legs apart, the apple is very well captured both for colour and texture. The whole photograph is very nicely composed and balanced.

Kind regards,
