Good afternoon Peeps

Todays image was taken on Sunday when I went with my dad to visit his brother and wife for the day, they had the most deligthful garden and as usual Smurfie had the camera on hand and pretty much filled the memory card up. Image resized and cropped slighty in paint.net

so why the weird title.

well... yippeeee

A very sleepy Smurfie here as I was up last night testing and uploading the live chatroom software on my website.

To use the new live "Trekkers Tea Room"

1, You will need flash installed on your PC.

2, Go to www.doodarz.com and sign on for a free account bottom left.

3, Click the chat link half way down on the main page and sign into chat.. please note this is case sensitive so you must use the correct sign in and password for it to work.

4, Once into the main milk bar room you will see a drop down arrow at the top. Click the "Trekkers Tea Room" option and the password is "Adam".. yes yes I know thats very original.

You can chat in the main room or use private room options if you prefer

Please remember this software has only just been uploaded and we may still have a few bugs to fix, but at least you will have a live chat room for Trek members thats on a different server so you can communitcate when the main site is down.

I will try and be online as much as I can but I have a lot to do today and tomorrow so please be patient while the rooms starts to become populated as it may take a while for new members to get logged on.

TTFN regards Smurfie

P.S. Of course your welcome to chat in the Milkbar or any other rooms that we install but the Trekkers Tea Room is reserved for Trek site members only.If you have any problems please click the contact us link and let me know, it might take a little while to iron out all the bugs completely but it does seem to be functioning as it should at the moment.

Hi Smurfie,
Great shot, nice colours and sharpness with a good DOF and your trademark raindrops.
Well done
Regards Andy

P.S Will checkout your chatroom if I can remember my password.

Hi Helen, the new software sounds interesting - hope it all goes to plan.

But your rose here isn't your best. A bit too centred for my liking and I feel you are focused more on the bud, so that the wet rose petals aren't seen too clearly.

I've done you a quick workshop and I hope you like it

With subjects like that I can easily believe you kept on shooting, Helen. Beautiful colours, the droplets are a nice bonus on the petals. DoF is outstanding, sharpness spot on. There's a wee bit of noise in the dark green area below the flower, but it's absolutely not disturbing.

Hi Smurfie,
Like the sharpness and colours of this rose, but I agree with Janice it's too centred and her WS improves the image quite some. Nonetheless I think it's still a fine imression of this wonderful flower.

N.B. For some reason my password of Doodarz doesn't work can't get to the chat room :-(

Hi Helen,
What a delightful color!
I am amazed by the luminosity on this rose. Excellent DOF and sharpness. You rendered so well the fragile softness of this flower! Bravo! Annie

A tea room!! How nice!! Can I bring my Starbucks in?? Nice work here Helen! Beautiful rose and I love the water droplets! Excellent work here!

Hi Helen

Perfect sharpness on the fg red rosebud, but some loss of dof, towards the back of the apricot bloom. A good neutral green bg. Tfs!

Hi Smurfie,
Just love the colour of this little beauty. Not to far removed from the photo you framed for my hallway.
For myself, I could do with out bud, but that's only a laymans opinion. What I would like to add, thinking about Janice's comment, why would someone think the subject 'to central' and then do a workshop making even more so? I can't figure that one out!!!

Papa Smurf xxx

wow
beautiful macro
i like it
Excellent perspective anf great POV.
It's little out focus like sharp too.
see you next photos
Best regards
