Wow, Karan... what a portrait! Nice model to start with, but excellently captured. Normally I prefer colour shots, but here the eyes say it all and the b&w distracts very littly, a lot less than colour would do.
Leaving the eyes in colour and the face in b&w would look nice too, I bet.
Sharpness is outstanding, the contrasts in the shot are spot on.

Hi Karan - this is about as good a lion portrait as you could hope to see, in my opinion. The composition, sharpness, b/w conversion are all first class - you should be really proud of this, it's a beauty.

Hello Karan,
This is a fine portrait!
Strong but possibly sad eyes, super details in this nice B&W rendering...
Tight framing still works well for directing attention!

Hi Karan,
Another great shot of this king !
I must say, I prefer color photos of animals. I guess it got its colors for a reason ..... simply to impress, and in b/w this animal misses a dimension.
For the rest a great shot ! with very good sharpness.
greetings,
Joop!

Hi karan,
A most beautiful confersion to B&W the tonal range and contrast are superb. The frame filling close capture and his expression are very beautiful. I love how this left eye was in a more lighted area.

hello Karan,
I like your b & W treatment here. It shows up the texture of coat and I especially like the flowing lines of its mane below it s rather cute nose and whiskers. And look at that beard...quite comical, although of course we are supposed to take a lion very seriously!

and the last one I missed is this portrait, one of the best portrait one can do with a lion, the B&W conversion and the lighting are stunning, and so is the glance and the fine sharpness, indeed that's one of the animal portraits I've seen on this site
best regards
