Indeed, it was a great show.
Well for sure there are better ones, but this was the first one I've been to, so it was a good experience for me to test out my tele-lens, but this time testing it properly.
I would love to go to F1 or Speedway :), now that would be really great.
Unfortunately no F1 here in Poland, and Speedway takes place far away from the city where I live in.
Photo cropped all around for better close up, USM'ed, adjusted highlights and shadows - the whole sky was full of clouds, thus gently affecting the photos, especially underneath the planes.
I guess that during this stunt many viewers took a deep breath, especially after the terrible mid-air accident last year during the Air Show in Radom/Poland (more info: LINK)

Nice aerobatics picture - sharp details in the planes and although the planes are central to the shot the composition works well because of the trailing smoke.
