Salut jonathan
A wonderful trip of yellow, red & blue, in this superb abstract shot of the reflections. Congratulations!

Hello Jonathan,
It is interesting, sometimes, to look beyond the inital image and notice it from a colour pov, or a shape pov. It can be a shock to the system for some and an awakening for others!
This is a mixture of the abstract and the real.
I think it works very well.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Magnifique cette photo, j'adore!
Un visiteur ailé a réussi à pénétrer un tableau abstrait.
Compliments Jonathan.
Bonne journée.

Un classique du genre, mais avec l'originalité de la présence de l'oiseau. Très belles couleurs et belle lumière !

Hi Jo,
I really like this shot very much. Nice modern look to the reflections. I'm trying to visualize the buildings. Very creative, imaginative, and one of the best I've seen like this.
Tres Bien! Lisa

hello Jonathan
As if the gull is really desparately looking for identification or its own group, this abstract of colored reflection and the ripples causing distorted color image has an effect that you aimed for. It is like a painting.

Hi Jonathon. A very fine arty sort of composition. You have done this well. The placement of the bird and it's happy look is a definite plus, a little like a beauty spot on the face of a model! TFS. Murray.

Ivan

the ripples of the water, distracting the reflections is good in this composition. it pulled my focus to the colors of the building in the background. good POV. well done.

Hi Jean,
Not only the sea gull, I've also lost myself in the reflection, I like colourful reflections on water but if there is an alive element on it, I just watch in admiration, cheers..

Hello Jonathan,
I haven't had much time to leave many comments in general, but upon visiting the general gallery just now...I recognized your perspective immediately and knew this was from you. I have my points and names shut off so that an image is what I initially respond to.
As an aside, I recently read your very clear forum message at TrekEarth describing the difference between the two sites. I suppose this photo would fit in one of the categories you mention.
About this shot, the splashes of color that make you want to look up at the buildings in your other reflections shots is different here with the seagull. The difference between the ripples in the water make for a very nice effect. You've got a good eye!
Kind regards,
Jim (points are off)
