Roses are red my love,
violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet my love,
but not as sweet as you!

Every once in a rare while, Rob buys me flowers.
He knows that I prefer flowers where they are suposed to be, out in the garden or in the wild, but I do think it's very sweet to sometimes think of it.

Took the roses out and shot this in the backyard to capture what was left of the daylight. It started to rain although the image is quite dark I really do like this...
Hope you do too!

Cropped and added a bit of contrast and a tad sharpness.

I love the right crop, the composition and the details. the one problem, in my opinion, is that it seems a bit dark?

Again this is just beautiful.A nice tight crop and very refreshign with all those water droplets. I like the balance here with the centre bud on the left and the petals opening out accross the shot.Lovely posting

I agree with Silke, it's a bit dark on my end and I love the WS she did! Your comp is really nice and the water drops are Soooo nice! And what a neat guy you have! Every woman deserves a man who gives her roses! Love the tight crop!B-)

In de thumbnail en op mijn monitor is deze wel ontzettend donker; ik weet dat je het sfeervol vindt, maar ik mis de sparkle van de druppels.
I have got the same feeling about flowers, but it really is sweet when you are surprised with a bunch once in a while.
The picture is beautiful but I made a workshop in which a slightly changed the histogram to make the rose more visible and the drops more sparkling.
However my WS for the day are gone, so later I will post that one.
