| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Noticed a slight pink tinge to the clouds last night as the sun was begining to set so took a drive up to Lindean Loch about five minutes from my home.
Took a number of shots as the sun was going down, have never seen the water so still as last night.
Using Nikon Captue NX2
Straightened the horizon.
Cropped the image.
Adjusted colour / saturation using control points.
Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Resized the image.
High Pass Sahrpen.

Hi Derek,
Awsome sunset composition with a beautiful environment and a great landscape around. Perfectpositioning of the horizon and the way of composing is impressive, too. The reflection look splendid, congratulations! TFS.
Best wishes,
Kristof

Hi Derek,
Great shot of Lindean Loch at sunset the reflection on the water is brilliant. The tones and shades give a nice atmosphere to the subject. Well done.

Hello,
quel reflet, merveilleux, et ces couleurs rosées, orangées, le soleil en fond, un superbe ensemble.
Bravo et amitié

Hello Derek,
It's so satisfying to see a scene like this!
Apart from the few waterweeds in the f/g, this is a perfectly symmetrical image.
Lovely composition.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
hi derek.
the light, the colour and the stillness make this a very tranquil image.
a heart warming pic.
(there's never a swan when you need one) lol.
have a good week.

Beautiful tranquil scene Derek.
Exposure is perfect, love the silhouettes. Think I would have cropped a little of the bottom just to make the reflection identical.
But still a cracker.
