Hello Lili,

This is a fine 'postcard' quality shot of Westminster. It is almost a panoramic view!
The rail of the bridge makes a good device as a lead-in and helps perspective.
The focus is sharp and the architectural details are finely captured for the whole building.
The weather may have been cold but the aky suggests a good light.

Buna! Frumoasa imagine, asa cum arata deja comentarile, nu as mai reusi sa adaug alte comentarii, caci nu as face decit sa ma repet. Cumva perspectiva ma deranjeaza un pic, iar WS cu corectia ei parca totusi e nenaturala. Imi place mult si imaginea WS 2 cu ungiul de vedere dinspre pod. Pacat ca nu ai surprins pescarusul pe cer si nu in fata cladirii.
Cind am vazut imaginea prima oara, parca mi-a dat si mie senzatia de HDR. Ai mai incercat?

Really like the lighting on both the building and the sky. This view shows just how massive the structure is. Detail well captured.
Only suggetion would be to eliminate the "tilt" on the towers on the right and left.

I like the somber mood of the parliament house here, very appropriate to the economic mood of the country. What I really find interesting is that the lines of the tower the bridge rail and the building itself lead my eye to that lamp post and hold it there.. interesting effect.... Beautiful sky and the building is really sharp and well defined. I like the composition with the handrail but I would prefer to see the towers straightened up (I know, engineers are a painful)

Servus Lili,

Ma bucur ca ai mai postat, ca te-am vazut mai rar pe TL. Sunt foarte frumoase toate trei (ai prins parlamantul londonez in toata splendoarea lui), dar al doilea WS imi place parca mai mult, ca atmosfera. Se pare ca acea zi rece de sfarsit de decembrie ti-a dat posibilitatea sa scoti niste poze foarte frumoase, cerul si culorile arata frumos de tot si claritatea e excelenta.

O zi de martisor frumoasa! Te pup!

but this image betrays its unusual essence.
under surrealistic sky, in this illusionary building, we cannot see live person,,,but hallucinatory goblins indeed.

Good use of wide angle here. The handrail is a good lead in. It is not quite as crisp as many of your other photos. This might be the iso -- but I don't know. It looks like a night shot but according to the clock it is mid afternoon. Nice frame. TFs. Karin

Hi Lili, Ideal composition and crop to include these icons of London. These buildings have stood the test of time. The light in the skies above Big Ben, gives a softness to contrast with the stonework. Very fine image fit for a publication of some kind. I have read there is software to alter the verticalness of a tall tower, but can't do that myself. TFS. Murray.

Hello Liliana,
You are posting here one of the most famous views of the world in very fine weather conditions. I like the soft light and the colours in the sky. When I was there (August is supposed to be a summer month) I bought three umbrellas. One went with the wind from this bridge right at the same position, the second one stayed at a fastfood restaurant around the corner and the last one didn't get wet at all so I kept it as a souvenir.
