[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Caught this Common Pheasant looking for a mate last May, these birds are beautiful to watch and the males are fantastically coloured. this was taken as the sun was going down on one of the fields near where I live.

PP work - altered brightness and saturation, sharpened and resized for TL.

Hope you like it.

Hi Bri!

Oh this is a beautiful bird. I've not seen on in the wild, but would like to. The first time I saw wild turkeys flying, I ran off the road, because I couldn't take my eyes off of them. A turkey can't compare to the beauty of the fancy male. Very well composed!

Hey Brian,
You pumped up the saturation a bit, but the result is great. The DOF is very good, so the eye goes to the pheasant automatically, being the only thing in focus.

Hi Brian, That pheasant looks very bright and colourful which is sharply recorded. The Focal Length 300/1 mm which means well away in the distance. Your hand is steady to get such a good result. Excellent work. Murray.
PS only improvement may be to lie on the ground and get a slightly lower POV, but that is not always possible.
