[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jeppe is a TE and TL (Jep) friend. He is one of the TE photographers whom I respect the most for his sunset shots. His landscape shots of his country are also spectacular. Before I flew to Copenhagen, I emailed him and I was very glad he was available to meet up with me despite our tour's tight itinerary. We met up in Frederikshavn and he reserved me a front seat in his car (where he drove some kilometers along with his family) to treat me out for dinner at the northernmost part of Denmark, Skagen.

We waited for the sunset which came at around 10 pm. It was awesome to see Jeppe at work. I did learn a lot from him. He drove me back to my hotel at around 11 pm. It was a short meeting but a priceless one. To Jeppe and his family, thank you so much.

P.S. I learned from Jeppe that that day was the only sunset experienced by Denmark for quite sometime. We were indeed lucky.

BTW, I also posted another shot of Jeppe at work in TE today. AND, please look at the workshop for a close-up shot of the master at work.

Hi Manauel

A superb sunset, with excellent color, graphism, & silhouettes. Jeppe sounds like a really great guy. Well done!

Hey Manny!
a beautiful shot, love the sillhoutte, and the colours. much like all your photos, your able to capture very very beautiful colours. this photograph is no exception. his camera looks like a 6x6, which i would be surprised if he used.

anyway great capture!
cheers
-Bart

Good idea to picture a photographer in action in the same photo then you work too! And of course the colors are greats!

Great shot! It's good to see you are master of all kind of photography! :)
Colors are great but silhouette shows the photographer work in a great way. TFS!

perhaps an appropriate title for this would be "The Sunset Master as seen by the Portrait Master" :)

Manny, you're not only good at portraiture but on landscape as well! Congrats again...

Nice silhouette and composition.

Beautiful shot! Moody and 'saying' somtething - to me at least ;-)

What an honour to meet Jeppe, and also to be with him side by side to shoot pictures. Lovely sunset scene with Jeppe silhoutted against the sunset. There is a slight tilt to the left on the horizon Manny, but I know you know how to rotate that. Also a great portrait of him in the workshop. Did Jeppe take a photo of you. I hope so.

Hi Manny - I would say the true master behind me ;-) Glad to watch this and hearing you had a good time here as well - even Denmark is small is three day's not much time to spend - glad you got the best weather as well.

Regards
Jeppe

Thanks for the fine portrait (workshop) as well - I'm not a good poser, so you had a difficult job, which you solved excellent :-)

This is indeed priceless, both as souvenir for you and Jeppe, and as an example of how photography can bring us together in the most unimagined ways. It is also both in photo and text a great hommage to Jeppe. And I am so glad to see that even you, the king of portraits, can manage to get a horizon slightly tilted.

Exquisite photo. I too, am a fan of sunsets and landscapes, as my photos will show. I hope you can stop and look at mine also. Thanks for sharing this beauty!
Tracy
