[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everyone,
this is the first one I've posted for a bit. I seem to have fallen out of the habit of visiting much, for some reason. Anyway, I liked this one so much that I've returned just to share it :-)
It's a sunset shot of my dad's Porsche Carrera 4S, taken shortly after I'd managed to panic him by driving it at 140mph. Thanks to Tom (Bluepianowaits) for lending me his sunset filter, which I had to hold manually in front of my lens because I didn't have the right sized filter holder.

Hi John - I was admiring this shot when Mrs Arab came along and said "wow, could be an ad for Top Gear!". Very professional feel to this shot in both composition and exposure control - the colours/tones are spot on - very nice shot!

Wow John, this certainly brings back memories! Sorry about being slightly twitchy at 140mph, it's not the same when you don't have the controls! I do trust your driving implicitly though. Fantastic shot, I was wondering if you would post it. Perfect sharpness and colours. Cheers, Dad

OK yip I looked at Toms shot too and i have to be honest I prefer this one. the reason being your POV is a touch lower and makes the car seem bigger and thus more powerful. Well balanced shot with good colour and tones
