I love the color contrast in your innovative and artistic shot!
The color contrast between the golden yellow color of the stairs and the blue sea, is simply great. The sharpness and POV is very well chosen. Wonderful diagonal placing of the stairs.

En effet, le spectacle est aussi par delà le mur.
Une superbe lumière dorée, c'est magique je trouve.

La diagonale de l'escalier est très esthétique,
un ensemble historique et architectural à l'atmosphère graphique ( du très bon travail ).

Ce pov est d'enfer est nous fait croire que nous y sommes.

Bonjour Jean,
Une image puissante par sa simplicité. Un jeu de lignes réellement efficace, qui donne beaucoup de profondeur à cette scène. Un très beau rendu également de la chaleur qui doit règner à cet endroit, grâce à l'intensité des couleurs.
En même temps, l'atmosphère semble sereine et silencieuse, mais lisant ta réponse à "p43n6", je me dis que c'est plutôt la magie de la photographie par rapport à la réalité. Si tu as dû cloner des tas de voitures, tu as sans doute dû effacer encore bien plus de touristes qui occupaient ces escaliers ;o).

Et dire que j'ai fait très peu de photos lors de mon passage sur ce site et pourtant il en valait la peine, bravo pour cette prise Jean , j'aime bien voir l'horizon se terminer derrière ces antiques sièges de pierre de l'amphithéatre je crois , la brisure est nette au bout de ces sièges en escalier et ça j'aime bien ( un peu plus flou.... encore mieux) , plutôt unique comme compo , bien fait ,
De beaux souvenirs de cette île magnifique me reviennent et merci du partage,

I like the softness in the horizon compared with the harsher rigid pattern in the stairs. Of course the blue and orange tones are complimentary on the colour wheel so they work well together here.

This one popped up " look at me "
So I did :-)
Like the composition, colours and photoformat.
Also the lines of the stairs - border against the flat sea : that really works !

Only one " but " : IMO you have a little ( red ) colour noise in the sky above the sea
