I don't know which one I prefer Per, both have their own qualities... the original is a perfect macro shot with a superb DoF. The HPP version is equally beautiful though I would have chosen a different frame. TFS and... I agree with your note.

I think the water colour filter is just fine for this image Per. In fact it is really nice. The olive branch is a strong symbole and youpoint thta out in your note to. If i look at this as a symbol, theni woudl have wished for the darl olive to not be cut at its base. For me it gets to represnet the sickness in the worl. It is good that the branch is full of healthy green olives, which for me then becomes a represntation of all the good in the world. And as your note says, lets hope we end more wars then we star this year.

Per, excelent painting effect. Unfortunately wars will continue and get worse. Peace is certainly a big call and order. At least here on this site there are no wars. :) :)

Per, first of all, your note....so true, now if only we could all make it happen.
Second, your picture, it is beautiful, and true symbolism. I like both the original and the Hpp one.

I´m just sory that your olive doesnt have the size of the world. And even if it had...some capitalist would cut its branches to make money with it...

The original is very nice but the water color effect and the frame add a lot to the shot, good note.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo. La branche est garnie de fruits, et il semblent mûres à point. Le fruit séché permet de garder en tête que ces fruits ne sont pas éternels.
Je préfère la version originale. Les couleurs sont belles, les lignes claires et précises. Le cadrage est, à mon avis, très bien. J'aime bien la version aquarelle, mais, à mon avis, ces scripts ne rendent jamais la vrai richesse d'une belle aquarelle bien réalisée. Le script est calculé, l'artiste peint avec ses émotions, sa sensibilité et son coeur, ce qui en fait toute la différence.

Vous faites un très beau travail, Per, et j'espère que vous saurez y trouver votre bonheur. Vous faite les nôtre, avec cette branche de paix.

Vos deux versions de cette branche d'olivier sont très bien réussie mais j'ai tendance à préférer celle de votre workshop, elle me semble plus nette. Par contre le cadrage de celle publiée est très beau, enfin les deux me plaisent.
