Nice blue water there! I might have done some gardening in the foreground LOL ;-) but I like it as is. Yeah, it is pretty dry and still a long way for your swim!

You're right, it does present a nice spot. Good composition by including those flowers. Good colour and POV. Maybe you could have cropped a little of the bottom dry ground out. Otherwise well done.

I'm with you on dry arid landscapes Joop. I'm also with you regarding the use of foreground plants through which to view the main subject. It gives the viewer the feeling of coming across the scene as you did. The composition also is very pleasing and you have been successful in bringing out what colour there is to be found. Excellent.

Hello Joop - Beautiful landscape and great depth of field! The bright blue water provides relief from the arid surroundings. It looks like the southern California ecosystem where I live. Dry landscapes are probably the reason that I like to vacation where it's green!
