Looking at the thumbnail, I thought it was a photo of candles and wondered why you'd called it a sunset. I came to look and found that was what it truly was, the thumbnail lied! I like this different view of a sunset through a bamboo fence. The sun is at the right point, the fence fully in focus against a blurred background, making a different but romantic moment.

We have the same subject today but with from the very different points of view. I like the originality of your POV. I agree with Lois. It is not what I imagined with the first glance. Your composition with all these bluish lines with the vertical contrast much with the yellow point of the sun. Very nicely observed. Thank you for sharing! Annie

Highly inventive and unusual sunset picture :) I really like this one. It seems like the scene has african tones in it. The blue bamboo sticks make wonderful colour contrast with warm setting sun and DOF is just right. I guess it should look great when printed in large format.

Well-focused. I like the contrast of the dark bamboo and the bright sun. Perfect background, as well. The nice frame tops it off. Great job!
