Kurion ruins
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The ruins of the ancient city of Kurion, Cyprus. Low lying ruins like these can be difficult to photograph in an attractive way. I did the best I could by shooting towards the up slope and getting low enough to use the pillars to break up the horizon. |

Hi Vic:
I love the semetry that you have created in this capture...sharp details all the way...now I probably would have captured diffrently, but I was not there :)
A very well balanced exposured to create correct blance between shadows & lights!

Hello Vic, a good POV looking up the slope.
I get the feeling of a vast place, where the ruins extend for quite a way[?].
Did you take any shots reversing this POV?
I think your idea of trying to break the horizon with the pillars, worked quite well.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Vic, I love the sharpness of this from foreground all the way to the clouds, also the moody sky is good. Nice composition!
Cheers, Les
