| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A shot of a shop window in a shopping mall in Kish Island, in the Persian Gulf Southern Iran.
Somehow they looked attractive to me, but maybe not to you.
Nothing more to comment.
I am not really active these days, first because I am busy with better and more important things and 2. I realize this fact about TL more and more every day that it is unfortunately based on "I scratch your back, you scratch mine!" and this really has no technical or expermiental value to anyone. Again (as it has usually been the case - not always) members and their photos get more attention only if they have a wide network of friends to swap points with! I am not talking about myself, as I am no photographer and my shots are not really professional and maybe not even worth looking at. Its just that I still dont like the system here and keep thinking to myself: is it really worth staying here?....
Good luck to all .... |

I agree with you. good luck with whatever your plans are.
In my humble opinion, points are not so important.
But critiques are welcomed.
I see my self, I have learned a lot, specially when people post a WS, or give a useful advise.

I think it's your opinion. I learned so much from my freinds in TL and have this idea: If you don't see their photos they won't know you and your photos as here there are so many good photos to see.
So try to keep in touch with them and you'll see you're wrong. At last, it's up to you to stay or leave here.
Good luck,
Mitra
Dear Hamed
As one of the folks who has visited your images whenever I have been able to, I must admit that your attestation hurts.
The one thing I have learned from this site is that I need to pay attention to the works of other people. I spend as much time critiquing as I do shooting and PhotoShopping. And visiting the galleries and workshops of others has taught me a great deal. I have become more daring in my shoot8ing (as you would see if you did take the time to check out my galleries. Many others have advanced too, learned from each other and gotten better (which you can see by visiting their galleries).
We don't get points because we have a circle of friends. If I post a less than perfect picture, it gets lower marks and when I get good marks I learn what works.
If you don't want to stay and learn, then you are the loser. I am sorry to see you go.
