Today you are my neighnor in terms of the same subject we have photographed...what a coincidence! :) It seems that this season there have been frequent picture sessions of the Painted Lady :D

What a wonderful shot Caspian beauty you captured, great sharpness with wonderful POV. The white flowers are looking so adorable and giving very nice contrast to the colors of the Vanessa cardui. Great composition!

This is a beauty Alireza .. I don't usually stop for butterfly shots but this one caught my attention.
The detail and clarity are amazing. fantastic use of shallow DOF .. he stands out so well against the blurred background. Great job on the composition as well.

This looks very much like a painted lady butterfly.
No matter its name, your photograph is stunning!
The details of colour and pattern are superb!
The dof is perfect to highlight the butterfly and yet blur the context of the b/g.

I notice the sought after silky-crisp texture
in the wings, and the fine pattern is well reproduced...
A balanced composition, DoF spot on isolates
the insect nicely!
