I take about 35 shots but the most of them are blur I don't know why..?
shuter speed was abouv 1/100 and F-stop between 16-22 and I use ISO 400 and 200. I don't know why my photos were blured!!! because of bad focusing or hand shake...?

hi Mani, I didn't even think there can be such snowy views in Tehran, but this looks just gorgeous. excellent composition- I love this "roof" made of snow-=covered twigs and branches, and excellent perspective with the path seeming to go on endlessly...
\best regards

I cant say why its blur for the majority. It could be the mesure of light who were hard for the camera. See... A lot of contrast. Very dark and very white. Much relief of branchs! If youre mesure is by a spot in center or multi-point it could make difference. Perhaps the multi-point better fit... It its not.. Select with a spot-meter in manual mode until you have the result you like.

For that one i love the scene! Snow is everywere!

J'aime les photos de neige ...
Très belle ammbiance
Félicitation

Its still a great piture, bit i would have to say it was because it was hand held, maybe not at those F-stops I would use a tripod, but still a very good pic.

What a scene, Mani ! Unfortunately I cannot help you with the blur.

This really is fantastic, it seems very magical to me.

Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Depending on the temperature I'd say it was hand shake, Mani ;o). What also could have gone wrong is that your auto-focus had problems with focusing because there's not that much contrast in the subject. Always wait for the bleep the 350D makes if focus is ok, and make sure that the focus point that lights up red briefly is the one that you want to focus on. If in doubt, select the central focus point, focus the camera on the part of the subject you want to be sharp, and then reframe the shot whilst keeping the shutter button pressed halfway.
The benefit of shooting digital is that you can take as many shots as you like, so if you waste some it doesn't hurt... I love the compo on this one, the massive amount of snow-covered branches in the top works very well.
Great work. TFS.

Lovely photo Mani, really great b&w art.
jaco

Great one! Wonderful details, very good shadows, superbe compo. tfs

Hi Mani,

Impressive photo!!
The trees create a natural roof; I would feel totally protected walking there...
Very sharp and well seen composition!
Congratualtions!

Hi Mani. This is an excellent winter shot. Great composition and DOF. I do like the tones of B&W. It is true it looks cold but not that much actually. I posted one winter scene yesterday where it is actually looking warm even though it was pretty cold that day. It's funny how light changes the atmosphere and make us believe other way.

excellent!

TFS, Marie-José

What a really great shot, I love the long lead in line of the path and the tangle of snow covered branches. The composition is just perfect and the simple black and white tones work very well.

Istanbul is just emerging from a week of snow and I wish I'd been able to take one like this.

Andrew

Great shot Mani. Perfect composition, beautiful bw tones and atmosphere...
Tomasz

Hello Mani,

Great composition in this very beautiful scene. The decreased saturation looks awesome. I always imagined Tehran to be hot all year round, how wrong I was. Thankyou for sharing this with us Mani.

Kindest regards
Wayne

excellent perspective and shot! keep up the good work!

i like the colors,the texture,

i think if you the problem is the shutter speed!!mybe?or in focousing, try manual fcousing!!!!

well done
