what is more important here... the children or the pizza?
the depth of field causes problem here... maybe if you've had work with a larger f number and a slower speed you would have gain a better dof.
the tv set is also a bit distracting

but I understand that it is a moment in a life snapshot

Yep, rgagnon is right in his critique, but some shot is better than no shot. It takes a while to perfect all the technojumbo.
