I did not use any orange filter or effect here. For some reason which could have been the street lights or the incorrect setting on the camera, the overall tone is orange! But I personally didnt mind the result and did not try to fix it. What do you think? Workshops/comments are welcome :)

hi! hamed
great shot... nice timing...
thanks for sharing (",)

I think it's very nice! Orange cast is normal in night photography under artificial light. I like the snowflakes show this much. Lovely atmosphere , Hamed.
stay well:)

thanks and have a great week,

Hi Hamed, Good composition for TL. It sure gets cold there. What a wonder to see everyday photos and learn about the world from this medium. TFS. Murray.

Hi Hamed, i like this shot and its warm orange glow in what seems to be an extremely cold evening, well done and by the way i just read your complete intro and my friend you are definately not wrong, you seem to be the voice of many who dare not speak up as you have, i am a member of another site called photoblink .com and it has become a site within a site, my view is this, everyone should post annonymously then we will all have that same glory as the man with the photo called darkness, anyway your words are true my friend take care bye.

The warm orange backgroung is wonderful.I like the snow, they are attractive. It is because I have not see any real snow before.Good POV.
Regards,
chiping

When i look at it I feel both cold and hot at the same time Cold because it is winter. hot because of orange color. In terms of composition the car at the right side is a little bit disturbing bu any way it is a nice photo. TFS

I also noticed that night winter shots usually turn into orange and the reason are street lamps and snow which reflects much of the flash light on very near distance and the more distant objects doesn't get much of flash.
Anyway, great photo!

This looks a pretty scene Hamed.. well done.. I like the orange effect here...

Thanks for sharing
Regards
Dawn.

Hello Hamed, Very good and unusual photo, here snows a bit every 30 years! I like the snowflakes falling and overilluminated against orange BG. This colour is natural in Sodium vapor lamps (in contrast you have green-bluish from Hg vapor street lights).
Well done!
Hernán

Composition-wise, this is a very attractive and candid shot. The three lights at the background are adding a lot to the balance and the perspective of the scene, they are really attractive. The snow flakes, although adding a certain "motion" to the composition, are a bit distracting.

My opinion/advice about winter night shots:

1) Tripod is a MUST. If you don't have one handy, put the camera on a steady surface (car, bench, wall, or against a tree) and use the self-timer feature. If you don't use the self-time, the pressure you apply with your finger on the shutter button will most probably shake the camera enough to make the capture blurry.

2) Single light sources (like the ones in this photo) look great against the snow, always try to use them.

3) Night captures result to long exposures. You can use that to your advantage, with some really nice motion-blur effects.

4) Try to add perspective, e.g. shotting along a road. The winter night capture has a certain "fantasy" feeling by itself, which can be enhanced with the proper depth (i.e. perspective)

Keep on sending us your beautiful shots from Iran!

Best Regards,
Chris
